Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to);
- Identification of internal retrocession and third party reinsurance new business opportunities, primarily in Life but also for Health and Non-Life in close cooperation with MR business units worldwide
- Actuarial and holistic assessment of incoming business
- Structuring of Life reinsurance transactions incl. support in Non-life and Health
Qualifications required:
- High level University degree
- Qualified or student actuary under the German/US/UK or any equivalent actuarial education system
- At least 5 years’ experience in life insurance/reinsurance within an actuarial role. Past exposure to Health or Non-Life reinsurance considered an advantage
Experience required:
- Experience with underwriting guidelines and reinsurance treaty wordings. Ideally experience with Life pricing tools and financially motivated reinsurance
- Very good understanding on profit testing, risk capital and capital related issues
- Fluent business English and ability to communicate with people at all levels
