Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Support pricing and execution of flow reinsurance transactions through actuarial modelling, analysis, and transaction diligence
- Develop and maintain pricing models, analytical tools, and supporting materials for new and in-force opportunities
- Analyze product features, experience data, and transaction structures to support pricing assumptions, profitability analysis, and risk assessment
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or any quantitative field and Associate qualification of a widely recognized actuarial body required with Fellow qualification preferred
- 6+ years of relevant actuarial experience in life insurance, reinsurance, or financial services, with experience in asset-intensive pricing, valuation, ALM, capital modelling, or financial reporting preferred
- Experience with actuarial modelling platforms (MG-ALFA, GGY AXIS, Polysystems or similar) and programming or analytics tools such as Python, R, VBA, SAS, or SQL preferred
Experience required:
- Demonstrated collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills, with an innovative mindset, strong accountability, and ability to work effectively across functions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with statutory reserving, GAAP, and/or international solvency frameworks such as Solvency II or ICS
