The VP Valuation Actuary will lead the actuarial function, with responsibility for the Bermuda Economic Balance sheet and internal capital management framework.

Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

Lead the design, execution, and governance of valuation frameworks that support the Bermuda Economic Balance sheet (EBS) and the Company’s internal capital framework
Ensure actuarial models and processes are scalable and transparent
Engage regularly with the Bermuda regulator on valuation and capital matters
Act as an advisor to senior management and present to both internal and external Board’s as needed

Qualifications required:

FSA, FCIA, FIA, or equivalent actuarial qualification

Experience required:

10+ years of experience in life (re)insurance, including leadership roles
Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience presenting to executive committees, Boards and investors
Demonstrated ability to influence enterprise strategy
