The Pricing Actuary will assist in pricing both North American and International reinsurance business written by the Company's Bermuda office
Life Reserving Actuary 60-80% – 29615
Reporting to the Head of Reserving/Appointed Actuary, the successful candidate will become part of a motivated and open-minded small team that takes pride in a flexible work mode which is based on trust and support.

Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Life Reserving function for local GAAP within the Reserving department
- Help in collecting, analysing and reviewing the valuation of life technical liabilities from the various group life units doing business with the Company
- Support the adequacy assessment of life reserves under local GAAP (Swiss Statutory Reserves) and assist the reserving team in any necessary adjustments
- Contribute to IFRS17 analysis related to life liabilities, in respect to the connection with the Local GAAP reserves
Qualifications required:
- University degree with quantitative focus (e.g. mathematics, actuarial science, accounting or economics)
- Good command of English
Experience required:
- At least 3-4 years’ experience in life insurance or life reinsurance (an experience in Life reserving/reporting is desirable)
- Good knowledge of the Accounting standard and valuation basis (Swiss CO, IFRS17, Solvency II)
- Good knowledge of Insurance Technical Accounting (P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Experienced in MS Office, especially Excel (Power Query and VBA skills)
