Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited too):

  • Developing, implementing, leading and maintaining the risk management frameworks
  • Continue development of a cohesive control framework and risk appetites in local entities.
  • Identify emerging key risks in collaboration with underwriting and other stakeholders – using external as well as internal perspectives to anticipate changes and assess impact on their environment

Qualifications required:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in reinsurance, of which a considerable part in Risk Management, actuarial qualification a plus
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of operational and financial risks within a global reinsurer
  • Strong technical underwriting knowledge of international reinsurance business across P&C (incl. financial lines)
  • Strong collaborator in a matrix setup with coverage of a complex global organization
  • Comprehensive experience in risk mgmt. practices and governance demands for a 2nd line control function

Experience required:

  • Detailed experience with capital markets re/insurance activities as well as dynamics of complex transactions
  • Reliable execution skills with structured auditable processes while maintaining lean pragmatism
  • Strong collaborator in a matrix setup with coverage of a complex global organization
