Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Pricing Strategy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of pricing models and strategies for travel insurance products
- Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets to identify trends, customer behaviour, and pricing opportunities using GLM (Generalized Linear Models)
- Software Utilization: Utilize tools such as Emblem and Radar (Live) to develop, test, and refine pricing algorithms and models
- Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience required:
- Experience in a pricing, analytics or financial role, preferably in the insurance or travel industry
- Proficiency in using GLM techniques and experience with pricing software, particularly Emblem and Radar Live
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R/Python desirable)
