Lead Radar Developer – 29998

As a Lead Radar Developer within the Design and Deployment team, you’ll support the development of pricing models, proactive design improvements, investigations and providing pricing expertise to support IT change and remediation activities. You'll play a key role in designing the logic behind pricing decisions, transforming pricing strategy into structured, tested and governed rating systems that deliver intended business and customer outcomes.

Overview

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Develop hands-on pricing and Radar skills, supported by experienced teams as you grow into an independent pricing developer
  • Designing, building and implementing pricing models and rating logic to support robust, compliant pricing decisions
  • You’ll work closely with Pricing, Underwriting, IT and wider departments, providing pricing and algorithm expertise to wider change activity
  • Continue developing your technical capability and pricing knowledge, supported by a collaborative team focused on continuous improvement

Qualifications required:

  • A degree in a numerical, computing or data-related subject, or an equivalent professional qualification (desirable)

Experience required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with large or complex datasets
  • Experience using SQL, coding, Radar or an equivalent technical capability, with the desire to continue developing your technical expertise
  • Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and communicate technical outputs clearly to a range of audiences
  • Experience contributing to project or change delivery, with the ability to manage work through to completion
