Senior Manager – Pensions Actuarial Consultant – 29956

Our client is looking for qualified pensions actuaries or those with significant UK DB pensions experience to join their team. Overview

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Driving key initiatives in the delivery of UK DB Pensions advice to clients – this may include managing key client projects directly, and/or supporting their partners and directors to deliver to their clients
  • Being involved in the technical aspects of projects
  • Assisting in the development of new business, both with existing and new clients
  • As a Senior Manager, you will take the lead and delegate responsibilities to junior colleagues on projects such as, but not limited to: Performing actuarial valuations and calculations for Trustees and advising them on how to run their schemes

Qualifications required:

  • Qualified pensions actuary FIA/FFA, Scheme Actuary or equivalent

Experience required:

  • A great communicator
  • Enthusiasm and motivation – a great deal of desire to solving problems and delivering excellent advice
  • Excellent project management and client delivery skills – especially when balancing multiple demands
  • Commercial skills – a curious mind, to help them develop their business and look for new opportunities
  • Technical experience – significant experience of working in the UK DB pensions industry or individuals with highly relevant transferable skills
