SENIOR PENSION RISK TRANSFER CONSULTANT – 30097

You will hold senior support or lead transaction adviser roles across a significant portfolio of clients, with responsibility for the relationship with transaction stakeholders. You will also have a broader impact beyond your clients, helping to develop their new business initiatives, their propositions and marketing strategies and developing their teams.

Overview

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Senior support or lead transaction adviser on a range of Pension Risk Transfer” (PRT) Transaction across the pension risk transfer market (including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solutions)
  •  Take responsibility for the running of transactions, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget and lead relationships with transaction stakeholders
  •  Help advise clients on their strategic ‘Journey to wind-up,’ including preparation for approaching the PRT market and feasibility
  •  Create relationships with external stakeholders such as trustees, sponsors and other transaction advisers to help develop PRT opportunities
  • Take a central role on new business opportunities and initiatives both internally and externally
  •  Support marketing initiatives and media engagement, including their annual marketing campaign and their dedicated PRT conference
  • Help develop new strategies and propositions within the PRT and help to implement them on a range of clients

Experience required:

  •  Track record of delivery on settlement transactions
  • Wide industry experience coupled with sound technical capability
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivating and ambitious
  • Able to encourage and develop colleagues, and work well within diverse teams
  •  Whilst having an eye for detail, also capable of considering wider strategic matters
  • Coach, mentor and support direct and indirect reports to create future leaders
