They are seeking a Risk Manager to support and enhance the enterprise risk management framework, working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure risks are identified, assessed, monitored and managed effectively.

Overview

Key responsibilities including however, not limited to the following:

  • Promote risk awareness and support risk training initiatives across the business
  • Maintain and enhance risk registers, controls frameworks and associated governance documentation
  • Coordinate and facilitate risk and control assessment exercises with business stakeholders
  • Develop, monitor and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
  • Investigate risk incidents, losses and near misses, supporting root cause analysis and remediation activities
  • Support the production and ongoing development of ORSA documentation and reporting
  • Contribute to Internal Model validation, assurance and governance activities
  • Support stress testing, scenario testing and wider risk management initiatives, including ESG and climate risk activities

Qualifications required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ Risk Management experience within a Lloyd’s or London Market insurance environment

Experience required:

  •  Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and best practices
  •  Experience supporting risk assessments, controls reviews and risk reporting processes
  •  Good knowledge of ORSA, Internal Model validation and risk governance activities
  •  Strong stakeholder management capabilities with experience working across business functions

Desirable:

  • Degree, Master’s degree or professional qualification in Risk Management, Insurance or a related discipline
  • Exposure to ESG, climate risk, stress testing and scenario analysis
  • Experience working with senior leadership teams and governance committees
  • Professional risk or insurance qualifications
