Manager of the Underwriting Centre of Competence – 29261

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Design and continuously enhance the Company’s underwriting risk appetite framework, define UW policies, guidance and governance instruments and oversee their application
• Foster reinsurance contractual quality, provide consultation on contracts’ matters, define the Company’s wording’s standards
• Embrace a strategic perspective on the UW portfolio; foster a risk-return philosophy; steer the book striving for its optimal composition, balancing short- and long-term objectives
• Guide the team in performing analysis of the development of the UW book (risk profile, AvE, etc.), generating exposure-based analytical insights, assessing performance drivers and managing critical sources of accumulation
