Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

  • Life Reserving function for local GAAP within the Reserving department
  • Help in collecting, analysing and reviewing the valuation of life technical liabilities from the various group life units doing business with the Company
  • Support the adequacy assessment of life reserves under local GAAP (Swiss Statutory Reserves) and assist the reserving team in any necessary adjustments
  • Contribute to IFRS17 analysis related to life liabilities, in respect to the connection with the Local GAAP reserves

Qualifications required:

  • University degree with quantitative focus (e.g. mathematics, actuarial science, accounting or economics)
  • Good command of English

Experience required:

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience in life insurance or life reinsurance (an experience in Life reserving/reporting is desirable)
  • Good knowledge of the Accounting standard and valuation basis (Swiss CO, IFRS17, Solvency II)
  • Good knowledge of Insurance Technical Accounting (P&L, Balance Sheet)
  • Experienced in MS Office, especially Excel (Power Query and VBA skills)
