Experienced Actuarial and Insurance Recruitment Consultant working Internationally; mainly European and Middle East markets.

James started his career in 1994 in the City of London after completing his BSc in International Business and Law. He worked in the insurance industry for Arig Insurance before moving to Marsh where he was responsible for managing and placing international oil companies insurance programs. He embarked on a career in recruitment in 2000 and first joined the Emerald Group in 2012 working across Europe and internationally.

James is also experienced in placing a range of actuarial candidates at all levels from junior through to chief actuary plus he has placed at CEO, CFO and heads of department-level across the insurance industry.

Outside of work, James enjoys road cycling in his spare time and spending time with his family.
