Senior Reserving Analyst – 29446
Work alongside the Head of Reserving and wider Actuarial team to manage the Reserving processes, both GAAP and ultimate, and performance management across the Managing Agency

Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Assisting the Head of Reserving to perform the quarterly reserving for lines of business for the Syndicates under management
- Understand and help develop Reserving MI that can be used across the business to understand key trends
- Assess performance and highlight areas of concern and potential areas of remediation
- Calculate and review reserve uncertainty/ranges and assist in communicating this to relevant stakeholders
Qualifications required:
- Strong academic background: Numerate/Statistical degree and making good progress with Actuarial exams
Experience required:
- Insurance/Commercial Knowledge: Some experience across particular products and/or lines of business written at Beat and some knowledge of Lloyd’s market is desirable
- IT Skills: Competent user of MS Excel; VBA, Access, PowerBI and general coding skills desirable
- Knowledge of reserving software such as ResQ/InsurSight highly desirable
