Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Support the model development team and their business consumers by maintaining and enhancing a robust set of testing tools and processes and performing and evidencing a rigorous regime of functional and non-functional model testing
- To develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key users and stakeholders
- Oversight / management of junior team members, including supporting and monitoring their development needs
Qualifications required:
- Qualified or nearly-qualified actuary with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in life insurance or life reinsurance
Experience required:
- Experience of using Prophet, RiskAgility FM, Tyche or similar modelling platforms, including an understanding of the benefits and limitations of such platforms
- Experience with Atlassian suite, including Zephyr, or other test management applications
- Knowledge of Life, CI, IP and Annuity/Longevity insurance products and the actuarial concepts underpinning the core model calculations
