Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Work with the Casualty, Property and Specialty underwriting teams to provide pricing and deal analysis support, including pricing model development and individual reinsurance treaty pricing
- Deliver pricing MI and insights to the Senior Management team
- Support broader actuarial and underwriting objectives including reserving and capital modelling as required
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics or other relevant numerate subject
- Possession of, or active pursuit of an internationally recognized actuarial designation with an internationally recognized association
Experience required:
- Minimum of 8 years’ actuarial experience in the (re)insurance industry
- Experience in individual account pricing and portfolio management in partnership with underwriters
- Proficiency in data manipulation using tools such as SQL, and in analyzing internal and external datasets for pricing and portfolio optimization
