Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- The role will be focused on supporting their clients primarily on insurance investment and ALM work, with the individual expected to win and deliver projects in a diverse range of areas, which may include investment strategy, illiquid assets, credit and market risk modelling, internal model validation, matching adjustment optimisation, liquidity and sustainable investment.
Qualifications required:
- A senior actuarial or other relevant professional qualification, with deep practitioner-level insurance investment & ALM expertise
Experience required:
- Status as an industry expert in the area of investment and ALM for UK insurers, with proven experience of generating propositions and revenue
- Very strong knowledge of current and emerging hot topics in insurance investment & ALM
- Very strong knowledge of Solvency UK, as well as equivalent regulatory regimes, such as Solvency II and Bermuda
