The Reinsurance Claims Adjuster will independently handle a caseload of reinsurance claims, within the Lloyds Syndicate team.

Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Primary lines of business are Property & Casualty, Marine & Malicious Acts/Political Risk
- Analyze initial claim notifications, including coverage verification and associated checks for both proportional and excess of loss contracts. Ensure reserving is valid and appropriate
- Maintain electronic claims files and validate settlements, within authority levels
- Ensuring and delivering excellent claims service to all customers, by effectively driving claims through to resolution
Qualifications required:
- A relevant legal or insurance qualification (or progress towards) such as Cert CII, DIP CII, ACII
Experience required:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a reinsurance claims team
- Knowledge of Marine claims is essential with Property, Casualty and Political Violence and Terror an advantage
- Proficient in London Market Systems ECF 2 and IMR. Together with relevant ‘write back’ management claims system
