Overview
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Support the Chief Risk Officer in providing challenge, oversight and risk opinions on reinsurance, reserving, product design and pricing, exposure management, business plan, solvency, and capital utilisation
- Oversee the stress and scenario testing and driving improvements in these practices
- Reviewing and challenging the company’s financial risk profile and helping develop existing Risk Appetite statements and metrics
- Taking part in risk assessments, including looking at emerging risks and climate change
Qualifications required:
- You’ll need to be a qualified P&C actuary
Experience required:
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong financial skills and business awareness with a solid understanding of the UK market and regulatory environment
- Great attention to detail with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
