Overview
Your central role:
- Playing a decisive role in further expanding the market position
- You will be responsible for the underwriting performance management of dedicated global lines of business with a focus on property/casualty insurance
- As the person responsible for underwriting governance, you will ensure compliance with, implementation of and risk hedging for global/local guidelines. At the same time, you will be the primary point of contact for underwriting issues
- You will focus on managing comprehensive portfolio management within the line of business by ensuring the strategic development of a global underwriting strategy, including defining risk minimisation measures. This also involves conducting reviews and managing strategic projects
Qualifications required:
- University degree in mathematics or economics and/or equivalent training in the insurance industry
- Fluent German and English
Experience required:
- Several years of professional experience and a proven track record in the international P&C industry in a commercial/industrial line of business (e.g. property, transport, etc.)
- Intercultural affinity and proven ability to work and communicate successfully at various levels in a multinational environment
- Communicative analyst with diplomatic negotiation skills
