Overview
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Active ownership of quote process from initial receipt through to delivery and follow-up focussing on stakeholder management and managing of governance processes
- Adopt and promote a solution mindset to commercial problems, co-ordinating the input from subject matter experts with in-depth knowledge of client needs to solve complex propositional challenges
- Active involvement in Pricing sign-off process including input of wider market context and providing constructive challenge
- Support AVP, Client Solutions in contractual structuring, treaty drafting and negotiation
- Demonstrating strong technical knowledge covering deal structuring, product features and pricing
Qualifications required:
- Be a qualified actuary with relevant post qualified experience
Experience required:
- Have strong and relevant technical experience in life (re)insurance, life consultancy or pension brokerage/EBC
- Have a good understanding of the UK, Continental European and/or North American life (re)insurance market(s) and preferably knowledge of the longevity only and asset-intensive reinsurance structures
- Be highly analytical, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
