Overview
Key responsibilities:
- The Global Head of Actuarial will coordinate the group actuarial department, as well as being an active team lead function for the Solvency II team.
- This function shall coordinate in close cooperation with the actuarial Solvency II teams of the local insurance companies the solo reporting of Solvency II and consolidate the actuarial results of the insurance and non-insurance companies within the group.
- Leading the coordination of the annual reporting of MVBS, SFCR, RSR and QRTs
- Leading the coordination of the quarterly reporting QRTs
- Leading the actuarial calculation required for the risk assessment of the group (SCR, ORSA)
Qualifications required:
- Educational background in mathematics, actuarial- or financial science
Experience required:
- Strong Solvency II knowledge is a must, especially in Pillar 1 and 3
- At least 5 years of working experience in life insurance company in the Solvency II area
- Experience in leading a (small) team would be beneficial
- Very good MS Excel and VBA skills
- Strong coordination skills
- Knowledge about SOLVARA software
