You will work alongside the Underwriting Director for Casualty, taking primary responsibility for Financial and Professional Lines

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

You will be chiefly responsible for the adherence to the agreed business plan and ultimately underwriting performance for this class of business.
You will work with the Portfolio Management team to define and optimise annual plan strategy, reflective of market conditions
Alongside the Underwriting Director you will set underwriting appetite taking steps to ensure the KiDS portfolio is in line with said appetite to maintain a profitable portfolio
You’ll provide leadership and development guidance to directly reporting Underwriters assisting in strategic conversations with Broker partners when required to communicate underwriting appetite and rationale
