Distribution & Underwriting Senior Risk Manager – 29050
This role reports to the Head of Operational Risk and supports them to make effective risk management simple and accessible. You will lead and develop a team of risk experts, working closely with colleagues across all lines of defence to understand the key components of the companies Risk Framework, how they apply and implementing these in a simple and clear way.

Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Responsible for the delivery of the risk-based Distribution Assurance Plan
- Provide support to the Senior Distribution Assurance Manager to deliver the broader Line 1 Risk Assurance Plan, as required
- Assist in the design and maintenance of an appropriate methodology for all assurance activity delivered by self and team
- Ensure the quality of reports is appropriate and deliver assurance activity in line with the agreed protocols within the Line 1 Risk Assurance Team
Experience required:
- Knowledge of FCA/PRA requirements and expectations, with a focus on conduct and operational risks involved in distributing financial products and services
- Ability to communicate risk management concepts in a way that is simple and accessible
- Ability to process, collate, and present data in a clear and consistent manner and use this information to drive meaningful action
- Ability to influence in support of a risk-aware and customer focused culture
