The responsibility of a Claims Handler relates to all Healthcare claims generated by the company managed syndicates and the company platform writing UK, US and international business.

You’ll be responsible for delivering a high level of service while managing claims processes, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and supporting the wider team with technical and administrative tasks.

Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Liaising with clients, insurers, and third parties to manage and resolve claims efficiently
- Preparing and presenting claims documentation to underwriters and responding to queries
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on internal systems
- Supporting the negotiation of claims settlements to achieve the best outcomes for clients
Qualifications required:
- Educated to A-Level standard (grades A–C or equivalent)
- Progression toward professional qualifications is desirable but not essential
Experience required:
- Ideally has some experience in a claims role, particularly within an international broker (though not essential)
- Understands the general principles of insurance and the claims-handling process
- Familiar with London market operations (Lloyd’s and company markets)
