As an Associate Post Transaction Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting a portfolio of clients as they navigate the final stages of their journey from buy in to wind up.

Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Leading or supporting multiple wind up projects, acting as a main point of contact for trustees or working groups.
- Providing oversight of scheme wind up activities, including planning, monitoring and ensuring milestones are met.
- Liaising with insurers, scheme administrators and stakeholders to maintain progress against project plans.
- Leading or supporting strategic and technical aspects such as factor comparisons, lump sum exercises, funding reserves and surplus balance sheets.
Qualifications required:
- A professional qualification (or part‑qualification) in pensions (e.g., APMI, AFPC or IFoA).
- Ideally holds an Honours Degree.
- Educated to at least A‑level/Scottish Higher level, or equivalent experience.
Experience required:
- Knowledge and experience of UK DB pensions
- Experience in consultancy or supporting UK pension schemes (e.g., actuarial work, bulk annuities, trustee exec, scheme management).
- Understanding of the legislative framework for UK pension schemes appropriate to experience.
