Overview
- Responsible for underwriting Fortune 2000 book of business in accordance with the Company’s business plan.
- Analyze and evaluate catastrophe exposures across all general and products liability classes for U.S. and international risks
- Analysis of coverage terms, conditions and policy forms
- Negotiation of complex and varied coverage terms
- Ability to develop manuscript wordings and endorsements for legal approval
- Development of a profitable portfolio of excess casualty business comprising clients in the Fortune 2000 business segment
- Existing broker relationships in Bermuda, the U.S, and London to help facilitate personal and corporate goals
Experience required:
- A thorough understanding of General Liability, to include Umbrella and Excess, Product Liability, Construction Liability, Healthcare and Employer’s Liability is required
- A minimum of 5 years’ casualty experience handling Fortune 2000 clients
- A thorough understanding of Casualty forms, both claims made, occurrence and Bermuda market policy forms
- Experience with, retail and wholesale insurance intermediaries in Bermuda and London
- Previous mentoring experience is preferred
