Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Pricing actuaries are expected to have developed understanding & knowledge in the different Actuarial activities carried out within the Company. The 4 principal activities are Actuarial Risk & Capital, Actuarial Reporting, Actuarial Systems and Pricing.
- To have a high level of knowledge and understanding and be able to play a lead role in at least two of the Actuarial activities.
- To actively develop knowledge and understanding in the remaining Actuarial activities.
- To act as an Actuarial contact point for internal and some external customers and to provide accurate technical input and explanation.
Qualifications required:
- Qualified actuary or nearly qualified actuary with a minimum of 10 actuarial examination passes and proven actuarial experience
- Preferably possess a relevant degree with grade 2:1 or above
Experience required:
- Detailed understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excel software, R, VBA, PowerBI, Actuarial specific software & Python desirable.
