The Senior Actuary, Reserving will manage loss reserving and actuarial risk management activities for the company in close collaboration with the Chief Actuary/Chief Risk Officer.

Overview
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Reserving for a large multi-line proportional and excess of loss treaty reinsurance portfolio; including acting as Loss Reserve Specialist subject to Bermuda Monetary Authority approval.
- Supporting the Chief Risk Officer in managing per risk and aggregate risk exposures.
- Proactive engagement with the cedent’s reinsurance broker, and the cedent’s representatives, to ensure complete and timely information flow.
- Participating in meetings with the cedent to inform and improve exposure management and reserving.
- Supporting, as needed, new and renewal exposure analysis and policy pricing.
Qualifications required:
- Fellowship of either the Casualty Actuarial Society or the Institute of Actuaries and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a similar field
Experience required:
- Minimum seven (7) years of direct (re)insurance actuarial experience gained in a leading (re)insurer, actuarial firm, or accounting firm; focus on casualty and/or specialty lines strongly preferred
