Project Accountant

The role will be responsible for supporting key strategic initiatives including the onboarding and integration of business units into the Group Finance function and implementation of finance system change programs. The role is based in their London office and will require some travel throughout Europe.

Key Duties:

  • Act as project accountant on key strategic integration, implementation and migration projects
  • Work directly with business unit finance teams to identify and implement process improvements and finance system enhancements
  • Represent Group Finance on strategic projects to ensure requirements are identified and communicated appropriately
  • Act as Business Partner to Business Unit Finance teams to enable their integration into Group Finance
  • Work with business units to design, implement and streamline processes
  • Perform unit and integration testing prior to launch
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing
  • Develop business case for system implementation and enhancements
  • Lead ad hoc projects to continually improve Group Finance processes and systems
  • Assist with ad hoc queries from business unit management and Group Finance

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s (Required)
  • Accountancy qualification with 5 years post qualification experience preferred

Experience required:

  • PQE accounting: 5 years (Required)
