Overview
Responsibilities:
- As part of a small team (of two), you’ll enjoy working independently but also thrive on collaborating with non-technical teams, across the organisation. You’ll combine this with the ability to communicate pricing change to everyone in the business, right the way up to the CEO.
- Building credible and effective relationships, you will work closely with their capacity providers, who are key to what they do.
- Day-to-day you’ll be working with VBA and python to continually improve and optimise their pricing. So excellent programming skills in one or both of these languages (although experience of R is a good substitute), is essential to the role.
- Within this role a broader understanding of insurance is a plus, as working closely with their Brand & Product team, you’ll have the chance to directly influence their product, bringing fairer car insurance to even more people.
Note: You will be stationed at the Hammersmith office once a week.
Experience required:
- 5 years + in a technical pricing role, within a UK motor insurance pricing team, ideally at a large personal line’s insurer
- Working with senior management, other internal teams, and external stakeholders Skills
- Advanced Excel and VBA skills
- Experience in working with telematics pricing
- Knowledge of SQL
