Our client is looking to hire a GI Operational Risk Analyst to join their team in their London based office.

Overview

Key Duties:

  • Collate data, analyse and produce risk reports on a monthly basis
  • Produce and develop database reporting extracts to assist senior management, risk owners in risk oversight and management responsibilities
  • Act as an “expert adviser” on the risks database and source/provide required training for all users
  • Coordinate and submit the firm’s risk data to external bodies such ORIC within required deadlines
  • Establish data quality standards, and manage a data validation and quality process to ensure both the completeness and accuracy of risk data
  • Provide support, education and training to promote and embed a risk aware culture for staff

  • Excellent organisational and presentation skills & attention to detail
  • Able to work without supervision & be self-motivated in a proactive manner seeing tasks through to completion. Able to work as part of a team &/or on an individual basis

Qualifications required:

  • Qualifications – Preferably educated to degree level with professional qualifications (ACII) and/or risk qualification

Experience required:

  • Experience and understanding of Enterprise Risk Management and the Regulatory environment
  • Relevant experience in a risk management or equivalent role within financial services
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks and theory
