You will further develop and maintain in house process for managing and reporting exposure to Nat CAT and Non-Nat CAT events

Responsibilities:

Take ownership/management and develop the speciality class exposure management processes, improving and adapting as required
Assist in model validation
Complete regulatory returns and reporting as required
Communicating with all stakeholders, internal as well as external, including reinsurers/brokers & regulators as appropriate
Work with the underwriting function to ensure a good understanding of the written portfolios
Assist the underwriters in their researching and analyses (e.g. assessing quality of prospective new market opportunities; portfolio impact) as required

Have 1-3 years’ experience in Exposure Management and have knowledge of some speciality lines business (Energy, Marine, Satellite, War etc…)
Have technical knowledge and broad practical experience of insurance
Have experience completing Lloyd’s regulatory exposure management returns
Be a self-starter, able to solve problems and adapt as required
Be organised and have attention to detail
Be I.T literate
Have SQL experience, additional programming experience is an advantage (R/Python/VBA)
Be willing to take ownership of tasks/process
