Our client is looking to hire an Experience Analyst Tester to join their London based office on a Contract basis.

Overview

Key Duties:

  • Working as part of an international project team across several jurisdictions, taking a lead on the interaction between the raw data and the R&D experience analysis process
  • Working closely with the Operations team to ensure client data has been processed correctly within the new system allowing R&D to obtain and test the new experience analysis extract successfully
  • Working closely with the R&D team to understand their requirements for the data and the studies that they would like to do now and the future. The decisions that are made as part of this project will have a large impact on the types of analysis R&D can do in future years
  • Highlighting any potential issues with the project that could impact R&D as early as possible and propose solutions to these
  • Testing the new experience extract from the new operations system, ensuring it meets business requirements and fully replicates the information on the old extracts
  • Querying differences between the new and old experience extract. Proposing suitable changes to the extract where necessary
  • Assisting with the 2019 experience analysis of mortality, critical illness and longevity products on the current experience extract (this will aid in understanding the current system and processes in order to carry out the testing of new systems and processes)

Qualifications required:

  • Qualified Actuary with experience in Life, Disability and Pensions products

Experience required:

  • Experience in working with databases (SQL preferred, but will also consider SAS, Access or similar)
  • Ideally experience in a life office, particularly in performing experience analysis although they will consider wider financial services experience involving working with databases
