As part of the Group team within the Non-Life Group Actuarial Function the job holder will support the NL Head of Actuarial Function in running the Solvency II quarterly process leading some of the quarterly activities and ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner for the two European Legal Entities.

Manage complex non-life reinsurance claims most of all UK Motor- & General Third Party Liability plus Property Reinsurance Losses.

The main focus of this role will be on risk capital modelling and actuarial reserving of P&C lines. The expectation is that you quickly gain proficiency in both areas under the supervision of experienced colleagues. You will report to the Appointed Actuary.

The role is a senior actuarial associate within the Reserving team and is expected to involve work across a number of areas. As a member of the MRC team, you may also be expected to be involved in the wider team activities, including central and syndicate capital modelling and international actuarial work.
The Senior Exposure Analyst will work within the Exposure Management team to provide Cat Modelling and Exposure Management support to all lines of business across the group.
Reporting to the Head of the Credit Risk and Asset Optimisation, provide support to ongoing development and operation of the Credit Risk Model (comprising Bonds, Commercial Mortgages and Equity Release Mortgages model components) and the embedding of a credit risk framework in the investment decision making process to optimise investment strategy.
Responsible for monthly accounting processes, including managing bookkeeping resources, for preparation of quarterly and annual Lloyd’s regulatory returns for syndicate and managing agency. Support development of Finance function in line with the Target Operating Model in preparation for onboarding of new business.
