Emerald operates an established dedicated graduate/entry level division, placing talented individuals at the start of their careers into a range of disciplines.
Typically we recruit highly numerate 2.1 or over graduates from the UK’s top universities. Roles may be within actuarial, catastrophe modelling, claims, underwriting and IT in various size insurance companies. School leavers with good ‘A’ levels may be recruited for roles including claims assistant and assistant underwriter. Many of these roles will have an immediate start.
How do we find such high calibre candidates? We focus on networking and referrals, staying in touch with our database of graduates and working closely with universities – therefore introducing promising candidates that are not within the client’s internal recruitment capabilities.
